Our team members have a special interest in caring for cancer patients and the skills to treat people affected by lymphoedema. We pride ourselves in having excellent communication between our team members to ensure a smooth transition across our services while accommodating your needs. Our staff is highly skilled, and each member of our team has many years of experience in their field.
Physiotherapist, Pilates Instructor and Practice Owner
Orsi is a German trained physiotherapist with a special interest in cancer care and lymphoedema management. She has been working as a clinician for over 15 years and is considered an expert in her field. She completed her Higher Degree by Research Master’s at The University of Sydney investigating upper limb lymphoedema and compression, in September 2020. Orsi is a strong advocate for the integration of physiotherapy into cancer care and is actively involved in patient and staff education at multiple hospitals across Sydney. Orsi believes that everyone should have access to best practice health care and advocates a model that integrates multiple disciplines into the treatment process. Oncology Recovery Services Inc. is her vision of a centre that combines experts in their field providing patient care with the goal to optimise long term outcomes. Orsi seeks to make a difference in the area of cancer rehabilitation by facilitating regular free community events and platforms to engage, educate and empower patients.
Tineke obtained her Remedial Massage qualifications at the Australian College of Natural Therapies and further studied Oncology Massage in 2014 in order to provide safe treatment for patients living with cancer or with an illness that compromises the immune system.
Early 2019 Tineke undertook studies in Lymphoedema Management to broaden her skills and services to her patients. Tineke is passionate about combining Ancient Eastern Wisdom with Contemporary Western Health Science and is guiding every patient towards a more balanced unity of mind, body and spirit with her consistent levels of dedication and genuine care. She is a professional member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS)
Clare is a physiotherapist with over 25 years’ experience. During this time, she has helped many people overcome their physical limitations. Clare has worked in large hospital settings as well as private practices across Australia and the USA. She has joined our team in January 2020. Clare is an advanced lymphoedema practitioner and has a broad knowledge and ample experience when it comes to managing oedematous conditions. She has extended her skills in massage therapy while living in the USA and became passionate about providing oncology massage to cancer patients. Clare is a member of the International Society for Oncology Massage and the Australasian Lymphology Association. She is available for in-clinic sessions and home visits.
Massage therapist, Physiotherapy assistant
Catalina is a physiotherapist from Chile, where she worked in breast cancer rehabilitation and obtained qualifications of a postgraduate Diploma in Physiotherapy and Oncology, and a Diploma in Sciences of Physical Activity. Catalina is currently undergoing the registration process to be accredited to practice in Australia. During this time she is working with us as a massage and lymphoedema therapist and physiotherapy assistant.
Catalina holds a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy undertaken at the New South Wales School of Massage and completed her lymphoedema training on the Casley-Smith method for management of lymphoedema at Casley-Smith International. Catalina has a special interest in lymphoedema and recently completed her master’s by research at The University of Sydney, looking at assessment and treatment for hand lymphoedema.
Massage therapist, Yoga and Pilates Instructor
Vanessa has been living in Sydney since 2016. From a very young age, in her home country Chile, she has been interested in fitness and wellness. Over the years her passion for yoga and Pilates has grown stronger, and she decided to deepen her knowledge by studying at The Sports Fitness College. She successfully completed a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and a Certificate IV in Yoga Teacher training. Vanessa is also a certified mat work Pilates Instructor.
Vanessa is passionate about providing well-rounded classes, targeting each person’s specific needs and tailoring sessions to the individual through using a holistic approach.
Vanessa is a fully registered member with the ATM.
Dietitian and Nutritionist
Sharonne, is an accredited Dietitian-Nutritionist, serving the Sydney community since 2014. She has worked as a dietitian at Northside Group, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Westmead Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Google. In recent years Sharonne has focused on providing support and dietary management for individuals with Cancer. Exposure to a wide range of dietetics has a powerful influence on many aspects of Sharonne’s nutrition care.
Through comprehensive and individualised sessions, each client receives a personalised plan that is designed to help reach and maintain their optimum health. Sharonne believes in changing eating patterns in a positive and sustainable way.
The main force behind Sharonne’s practice is a deep desire to help individuals achieve their long-term health and nutrition goals. Whether you are seeking help with cancer care, gastrointestinal care, rehabilitation & recovery, women’s health, eating disorders or disease prevention, each client is individually evaluated and provided with a well-researched and comprehensive plan they can follow.
Health Coach, Rapid Transformational Therapist, Neuro linguistic programming (NLP), Energy Psychology Precision (EFT) & Hypnotherapist
Jo is a qualified professional, working for 30years in health as a registered nurse, educator, hypnotherapist and Health Coach. She is genuinely passionate about the benefits of the mind–body connection and the root cause to chronic health conditions, and is constantly inspired by the transformative experiences of her clients. She helps people with chronic pain (physical and emotional), anxiety, and depression to reprogram the mind–body pathways. Jo provides a safe, nurturing environment to release unresolved emotional hurts and change habit loops using evidence-based practice. She will tailor the sessions to what is happening for her clients and will recommend packages to suit each individual for optimal wellness.
After working together, Jo’s clients are empowered with their health and are viewing their world in a more positive way.
Adrienn Tothne Toth
Adrienn has been running a successful business for the past 7 years while raising a family and decided to join our team as a part-time practice coordinator in early 2019. Adrienn has outstanding communication skills as well as great knowledge in marketing, sales and customer service. As a mother of two young girls, multi- tasking comes naturally to Adrienn. She has a creative mind, shows attention to detail and is extremely innovative. Due to her warm demeanour Adrienn is able to create a welcoming environment for our patients and works effortlessly with our staff. She is efficient and professional when liaising with referring specialists and other colleagues. Adrienn has a passion for nutrition and is a great cook. She spoils us regularly with delicious and nourishing lunches. Adrienn is friendly, enthusiastic, efficient, self-motivated and a great asset to our clinic.
Nicolette has recently joined our team in February 2021 and has spent the last 9 years working with various Physiotherapy Practices around Australia in several roles, including practice management and accounts. She has a love for people and enjoys customer service roles and has a fine attention to detail. Nicolette also has a background in Aged Care, which she found very rewarding for 10 years.
Nicolette loves travel and learning languages and is currently learning Thai. She is also kept very busy doing volunteer work in her spare time.
