Clinic Administrator

About the role

The Clinic Administrator serves as an integral member of our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth daily operation of our clinic. This role is pivotal in creating an organised and welcoming environment that enhances patient care, supports the clinic mission and contributes to the continuous improvement of the clinic.

Qualifications and experience

  • 2+ years’ experience in medical office management or similar
  • Excellent multitasking and organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology
  • Medical office billing experience
  • Some level of flexibility with working hours
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to confidently liaise with key stakeholders including doctors and other health professionals

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating daily administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, handling patient enquiries, processing payments and managing billing.
  • Providing outstanding customer service with compassion and empathy, addressing patient needs efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information
  • Collaborating with medical staff to streamline clinic operations and improve the patient experience
  • Implementing and monitoring operational procedures to enhance clinic efficiency and effectiveness
  • Analysing data, conducting surveys and implementing marketing initiatives
  • Assisting in the organisation of regular staff meetings
  • Assisting clinicians to perform their duties seamlessly
