Friday Social: Project Boob-iful

Would you like to help raise awareness of breast cancer? Then get involved in an art installation we are running as part of our contribution to breast cancer awareness month this year. We are collaborating with local artist Elizabeth Gervay from Arts on the Move and are aiming to make 100 boobs from old socks, fabric off-cuts, buttons, and found objects. These will be collated into a public art installation.

Bring an old sock or two, your sewing kit, and any crafty material you have, to create a boob and be part of our community project. If you can’t make it to the workshop but want to contribute with your craft, please drop it off at our clinic during October. We will make sure it gets included in our urban display.
