Learn about the benefits of acupuncture for people with a cancer diagnosis with Susan Gallagher.

Susan has a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and has worked as part of a research team at The Royal North Shore Hospital, treating oncology patients with acupuncture. She has recently completed a Master’s in Science (Research) with the University of Technology Sydney investigating hot flushes in women with breast cancer. Susan is highly regarded and has experience with a large variety of cancer diagnosis. Her treatments are both safe and evidence based and her focus is on improving quality of life for individuals affected by cancer from diagnosis into survivorship.

During this session we will hear about how acupuncture works, some of the research to support it’s effectiveness and why it’s become a popular form of complimentary treatment in cancer patents. It will be an informative and relaxed discussion with plenty of opportunity for questions.
