About the Video

Lymphoedema can occur due to trauma to the lymphatic system. In this case, a motor vehicle accident, resulting in multiple complicated surgeries to save the leg from being amputated.

This gentleman spent months in hospital and months in rehab to regain movement and strength, and to reduce the swelling that developed in his foot and ankle.

Weekly manual lymphatic drainage massage helped to manage the lymphoedema. He is now able to walk, ride his motor bike again, and enjoy life with little limitations.
