Enjoy the experience of cooking and learning from the comfort of your own kitchen! Jane Freeman is an internationally regarded, highly experienced cancer dietitian and nutritionist. She is also a Leith’s trained cook, an IOC (International Olympic Committee) qualified sports nutritionist and award-winning cancer book author. She has worked out of leading hospitals and cancer clinics in Australia, London and Singapore, as well as consulted on the World Cancer Research Fund UK, Singapore Cancer Society and the Australian Cancer Council.

During the session Jane will take us through some simple recipes and help us to understand the nutritional demands of cancer. She will share her expertise on how to manage common food and diet related side effects and we’ll hear her answer some practical questions about how to eat well during and after cancer treatment.

This will be an engaging, interactive session and you will have the option to cook with us or simply watch and learn. There will also be opportunities to ask questions and share some of your own experiences with food and diet changes during cancer treatment. So get ready to learn about why good nutrition is important and how food can be healthy, enticing, easy to prepare and delicious!
