A practicing artist and qualified art therapist, Annie will guide us through the soothing, relaxing activity of mandala drawing. Mandalas are associated with feelings of wholeness and growth and they can be beautifully intricate and complex or very simple. They are all formed by creating spontaneous images within a circular space.

The expressive nature of art-making allows us to increase self-awareness, emotional regulation and self-reflection. Studies have shown that art therapy helps to manage some physical and mental aspects of cancer treatment including fatigue, stress, coping skills and quality of life.

During the workshop, Annie will also take us through a short meditation to help us get into our creative zones! As this is the last workshop for the year, there will be plenty of time for participants to engage with one another as we reflect on the year that was!
